Attract Your Perfect Destiny-Part 2

By: Kelly Heldreth

Desire in Goal Setting (Last week) we talked about how achieving goals is much like the GPS system of a car; provide a destination and the GPS will show you how to get there. Without identifying a destination, the GPS cannot guide you.

When you made your list of your Top 3 Goals, I mentioned the importance of connecting with your sense of desire and the more desire attached to your goals, the more powerful they become.

So let's expand on that idea.

Desire is one of the most powerful emotions we feel as human beings and has the power to turn the impossible into possible. It is the emotion that dares people to do what everyone says is impossible and gets us out of bed in the morning. When we want something bad enough, we will always figure out a way to get it.

When you feel intense desire, that emotion or energy is emitted to everyone around you, including the Universe, and attracts circumstances and people to help you. The Universe is on your side! Help will literally appear from nowhere to help you change your current situation.

This is exactly why you must add passion while visualizing your goals. The more desire that is attached to your goal, the more power it holds. This is just the way it works. It has always worked in this manner. The perfect design of the Universe is present to help you achieve your goals. It does this for every human being, without disrupting the desires or goals of others.

When the Universe is supporting your every step, it's a lot easier to get to your destination because you're working in partnership. The only thing you are required to do to invoke support is to pursue goals that carry desire.

Changing your current working situation can be scary. Creating that which you truly desire for you and your family is easier than you think. Think about this - if the Universe is designed to respond to your desires, then you can be assured that anything you do with desire is sure to be supported. This is why people who pursue their passion are so successful. It can be very hard to succeed working a job that makes you unhappy. It may feel as if you are going against the grain.

For most, change is not easy and this is why so many choose to remain where they are. Honestly, firing your boss to finally do the work you really desire to do can be stressful. The responsibility of caring for a family is the most common reason for not wanting to leave a secure situation. While providing for your family is a valid concern, it isn't a valid reason to remain in a situation that is limiting. What is the cost at the end of the day? You hate the work, the hours are long, you're missing out on precious family time - and you are at the mercy of someone else's time clock (either your boss or your clients).

There is no power in settling for less than you deserve, but there is massive power in pursuing your desires. When you set goals that carry a high level of desire, you will always attract more support and achieve more success doing what you love to do.

Revise, change and double check to make sure you are crystal clear on your goals. Your list of goals should have goals that invoke a strong desire in you. You want to see them come true and you feel the good feelings of imagining already having achieved them. Revise your Top 3 Goals list as well, if you need to, and hang it up where you will see it several times throughout the day.

There's no faking it here - you can't fool the Universe into supporting you in goals that you don't want. Connect with the goals you really want and begin taking steps toward them.

Look for part 3 next week. To your Success!
